Greetings!

God is good. Last month I closed the update with the prayer request of money needed for outreach. Only I forgot to mention what it was needed for! Amazing. God knows, and He is faithful, whether I am clear in my presentation or not!

So, did we receive the requested amount? No, but we are going. Some more may come in, and it may not. I expect that God is making a way regardless.

Carol has come down with a bladder infection, please pray for her rapid healing. Also, we are driving to Klamath Falls, next weekend to visit our home church, Living Faith Fellowship. These people have been so dear to us over the years! The core of our support, prayer and financial, flows through these believers. Thank you “Living Faith!” We wanted to have them “pray us out” as we believe that there will be a large harvest from this outreach, and we want them to sow into it, so as to share in the reward!

The following week we will ask Salem Vineyard to pray us out. We have had good fellowship with these precious saints as well. We don’t get to do all the stuff of church with them, as we are consumed with our YWAM activities, but God still gives us Wednesday evenings in a home group, as well as worship on Sunday.

Last week my parents came to visit for a few days. We had a good visit, and took turns winning the card game “2500.” Carol’s parents are coming this week. We look forward to their visit as well!

God is good! Thailand and Myanmar are coming up quickly! We leave in two weeks! (Sept 2nd I think.) I’d ask Carol, but she is sleeping!

Thank you for praying! Thank you for giving. Please remember to pray for us. I don’t know how much communication we’ll be able to have in Thailand. It can be quite difficult to send out large mailings…. especially in foreign places.
